September Adventure Edit
Spring is here and it's one of my favourite seasons of the year because it's whale watching season! 🐋
As the migrating whales head south they typically stay closer to the headlands to protect their babies. So this means it's easier to spot them from the shore.
There's so many great hikes where you can spot whales from on the Sunshine Coast, here are a few of my favs:
Emu Mountain
Noosa National Park (I prefer to walk from Sunshine Beach as the parking is easier)
Point Arkwright to Third Bay Coastal Walk
Point Cartwright, near Kawana
Mount Coolum
Adventure Recommendation
On the weekend I took my 2 year old on a last minute overnight hike on Noosa North Shore. It was a great adventure despite having to hike for 45 mins in the dark and set up our tents in the dark too. But watching the sunset from the top of the dunes was well worth it!

Hiking Meet Ups
I've planned two hiking meet-ups for local mums and kids on the Sunshine Coast. All of the details are posted in the private Facebook Group on the Events Tab.
You can RSVP to the event and then Facebook will send you a reminder prior to the event (such a god send for those busy weeks!)
Gear Recommendation
Having a suitable first aid kit is key to staying safe while exploring. Also when adventuring with kids they like to get themselves into all kinds of mischief.
I was recently asked what type of First Aid Kit I carry with me and I always pack the Hiking Kit from Survival as it has a snake bite kit and the normal first aid stuff you need.
